Epidemic numbers: In the past decade, autism spectrum disorders have become epidemic in western countries. The number of afflicted children has risen from 1 in 10,000 to 1 in 150. Some areas are now reporting 1 in 67 children are afflicted.

The autism-vaccine link: Thousands of parents report their children regressed dramatically after vaccination—some following thimerosal (mercury) containing vaccines, some following the triple live virus MMR (measles mumps and rubella) vaccine or a comination of all. Many also believe that aluminum adjuvants added to many vaccines, and known to cause neurological injury, may also be involved in their children's disabilities.
