Pet Vaccines
A 2004, BBC news story reported that a group of veterinarians has issued an animal vaccine warning. They are concerned that the current practice of frequent and excessive vaccination is causing health deterioration in animals. They talked about an increase in the risk of “adverse post-vaccination events” including a list of problems such as auto-immune disorders, transient infections and a risk of cancer in cats. Furthermore, they said that “the present practice of marketing vaccinations for companion animals may constitute fraud by misrepresentation, fraud by silence and theft by deception.”
More and more veterinarians are questioning the wisdom of the heavily loaded vaccine schedule pets are required to get. Many are now making the link between the degenerative and autoimmune disorders so many pets suffer from, and the excessive amounts of vaccines they are given.
