In the 1970’s when few people had heard about the health risks associated with childhood vaccines, Dr. Robert Mendelsohn MD was the first medical doctor and pedicatrician in North America to speak of his concerns.
In general, medical doctors are constrained by the dogma of their professional organizations. Although it’s probable that most doctors choose their careers and begin practicing medicine for altruistic reasons, sometimes things go awry. Unfortunately, those who find they disagree with some of the practices promoted by their professional bodies refuse to speak out against them for fear of loosing their reputations and careers. Until they’ve retired, it’s only the most astute and courageous doctors who are willing to tell “the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth”. With gratitude, we salute the many doctors, retired or otherwise, who’ve spoken out with deep concern about the impact of multiple vaccines on children’s health.
